Traditionally these costs would include film and matchprints. With our new Fuji CTP process, these costs are eliminated. The initial proof is done on screen using PDFs, what you see is what you get. If a color proof is required, we print this proof from the PDF that you have seen thereby eliminating film. If there are any changes, it is much cheaper to run another color proof rather than going through the time and expense of new film, and new matchprints. Once the proof is approved, we then digitally image directly on the printing plates. Since this new process saves so much time, we are able to expedite a higher quality finished product at a lower cost with faster turnaround.
